Unlike other vendors, Huawei&#39;s design shows this emoji holding a hand over its mouth, albeit differently to&nbsp;<a href="/face-with-open-eyes-and-hand-over-mouth">🫢&nbsp;Face with Open Eyes and Hand Over Mouth</a>&nbsp;and <a href="/face-with-hand-over-mouth">🤭 Face with Hand Over Mouth</a>.&nbsp;Samsung&rsquo;s design previously showed upper teeth and tongue.

Fearful Face

A yellow face with its hands over its eyes and raised eyebrows. One wide eye is peeking through the fingers.

Can be used to express the duality of wanting to look away from something because it&#39;s frightening, disgusting, or embarrassing, but not being able to.

Face with Peeking Eye

A yellow face with simple, open eyes and a closed zipper for a mouth. Meaning widely varies, but commonly conveys a secret or that someone will&nbsp;keep&nbsp;one (e.g., My lips are sealed). May also be used to tell someone to stop talking (e.g., Zip it! or I&rsquo;ll shut up now).

Zipper-Mouth Face

A sickly-green face with concerned eyes and puffed, often red cheeks, as if holding back vomit. May represent physical illness or general disgust. Not to be confused with <a href="/face-vomiting/">🤮 Face Vomiting</a>.

Differs from other smileys conveying sickness, including <a href="/face-with-thermometer/">🤒 Face With Thermometer</a> (used especially for colds and flus) and <a href="/face-with-head-bandage/">🤕 Face With Head-Bandage</a> (physical injury).

Nauseated Face

An icy-blue face with gritted teeth usually depicted with icicles clinging to its cheeks or jaw, as if frozen from extreme cold. May also represent unfriendliness (slang, cold) or excellence (slang, cool or chill).

Apple&rsquo;s design features the same expression as its <a href="/grimacing-face/">😬 Grimacing Face</a>. Huawei&#39;s design has a chipped <a href="/tooth">🦷 Tooth</a>.

Freezing Face

A yellow face with an open&nbsp;mouth, the top of its head exploding in the shape of a brain-like mushroom cloud. A visual form of the expression mind blown, it&nbsp;may represent such emotions as shock, awe, amazement, and disbelief.

Apple&rsquo;s design features the same expression as its&nbsp;<a href="/frowning-face-with-open-mouth/">😦 Frowning Face With Open Mouth</a>.

Shocked Face with Exploding Head

A yellow face with open eyes, raised eyebrows, and an open mouth, as if gasping in shock or surprise. Often depicted showing its upper teeth.&nbsp;May convey a wide range of emotions, including awe, amazement, admiration, disbelief, excitement, or concern.

Similar to <a href="/hushed-face/">😯&nbsp;Hushed Face</a>, which features smaller eyes and mouth. Several earlier designs, <a href="/apple/ios-6.0/astonished-face/">including Apple&rsquo;s</a>, displayed X-shaped eyes, making the emoji resemble <a href="/dizzy-face/">😵&nbsp;Dizzy Face</a>. Anguished Face

While intended to represent horror and fright, it commonly conveys such feelings as shock, awe, disbelief, and intense excitement, as a screaming fan.

Samsung&rsquo;s design <a href="/samsung/touchwiz-7.1/face-screaming-in-fear/">previously featured</a> a <a href="/ghost/">ghost</a> flying from its mouth. <a href="/weary-cat/">🙀&nbsp;Weary Cat Face</a> bears a similar expression.

Face Screaming in Fear

A circus or birthday clown displayed with white face makeup, a red nose, exaggerated eyes and smile, and two tufts of hair (red or blue). Commonly used&nbsp;as&nbsp;comment on <a href="/tiktok/">TikTok</a> or other social media platforms to indicate that a person&nbsp;is foolish, idiotic and/or selfish.

May instead describe something that is creepy or <a href="/face-screaming-in-fear/">scary</a>. Sometimes used as an unflattering alias for Donald Trump.

Clown Face

A spider, an eight-legged <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arachnid">arachnid</a> that spins a web. Depicted as a common black spider, as a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_house_spider">house&nbsp;spider</a>&nbsp;or <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_funnel-web_spider">funnel-web spider</a>, often shown from above with its large abdomen oriented at the bottom.
