Tiger Face

Apple, Microsoft, WhatsApp, Samsung, and Facebook&rsquo;s designs feature the full animal; Google and Twitter&#39;s&nbsp;designs feature a head with a short mane and black muzzle. Facebook&rsquo;s design <a href="/facebook/2.1/zebra/">previously</a> featured only a zebra head, as did <a href="/samsung/one-ui-1.0/zebra/">Samsung&#39;s</a>.

Zebra Face

A <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bactrian_camel">Bactrian</a> camel, a long-necked mammal with two large humps on its back. Depicted in light or yellowish brown, sometimes with a shaggy mane and humps, in full profile on all fours facing left.

Not to be confused with <a href="/camel/">🐪 Camel</a> (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dromedary">dromedary</a>), though their applications generally overlap.

May be used in association with deserts, the Middle East and Central Asia, and Wednesday (Hump Day).

Samsung&rsquo;s design features a camel with a shaggy head of hair and slight smile. Google&rsquo;s design <a href="/google/android-7.0/two-hump-camel/">previously</a> featured a blanket on its back, as for transport.

Bactrian Camel

A friendly, cartoon-styled face of a mouse, looking straight ahead. Generally depicted as a gray or white mouse face with large, round ears, a pink, pointed nose, and whiskers.

Often used with a more affectionate tone than the full-bodied <a href="/mouse/">🐁 Mouse</a>. Not to be confused with <a href="/hamster/">🐹 Hamster Face</a>.

A friendly, cartoon-styled face of a hamster&mdash;a small rodent often kept as a pet&mdash;looking straight ahead. Generally depicted as a brown-and-white faced hamster with whiskers, a pink nose, puffy cheeks, and large, round, pink ears, sometimes with a buck tooth.

Often used with an affectionate tone. May be used to represent a gerbil, guinea pig, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinchilla">chinchilla</a>, or related animals. Does not have a full-bodied hamster emoji counterpart.

Hamster Face

Google&nbsp;<a href="https://emojipedia.org/google/android-7.0/koala/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">previously&nbsp;</a>depicted a full-bodied koala climbing a tree, Softbank&rsquo;s koala<a href="https://emojipedia.org/softbank/2004/koala/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">&nbsp;previously</a>&nbsp;had brown fur.

Koala

A badger, a stocky mammal in the weasel family with a&nbsp;long, pointed head. Generally depicted in full profile on all fours facing left, with a gray coat, black-and-white-striped face, and short tail.

Google&rsquo;s design used to feature a friendly, cartoon-styled black-and-white badger face. Facebook&rsquo;s badger is sitting on its hind legs.

Badger

Leaves, as fluttering in a spring or summer breeze. Depicted as one or two green, almond-shaped leaves, with gray or blue motion lines, as if swirling in the air or as the wind blowing through the trees.

Leaf Fluttering in Wind

A Japanese <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kadomatsu">kadomatsu</a>, composed of pine leaves and bamboo shoots. Traditionally placed outside homes in Japan around the New Year to welcome spirits for a plentiful, happy year ahead.

Depicted as three shoots of <a href="/tanabata-tree/">bamboo</a>, arranged vertically at different heights in a wooden container, arrayed with pine leaves.

Often used to represent various plants or as a green accent color.

WhatsApp&rsquo;s kadomatsu is adorned with red berries, as is Facebook&rsquo;s, which also includes pink <a href="/cherry-blossom/">cherry blossoms</a>.

Pine Decoration

A classic teddy bear, as snuggled by a <a href="/child/">child</a>&nbsp;when going to sleep.

Depicted as a brown, stuffed toy bear, shown seated with its arms to the sides, hind paw pads facing forward, and a friendly smile on its face. Google, WhatsApp, and Twitter&#39;s&nbsp;designs include a <a href="/ribbon/">ribbon</a> around the&nbsp;neck, while Facebook&#39;s is wearing a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bow_tie">bow tie</a>.
