SerenityOS
The open-source SerenityOS desktop operating system has supported its own custom emoji designs for a subset of emojis since August 2022.
The emojis are presented in a pixel art style, reminiscent of early video game icons and early non-animated color emoji sets from Softbank and Docomo.
As of January 2024, over 1,700 emojis are included within the custom design set, supporting emojis up to 2023's Emoji 15.1 recommendations.
