Samsung One UI 2.0 began rolling out to users in February 2020. The first major devices to launch with this release were the Galaxy S20 and the Galaxy Z Flip.

This update provides support to the 136 gender-neutral person ZWJ sequences recommended in Emoji 12.1. However, the previously-released 👩 Woman variant designs are displayed instead of a new gender-neutral design.

The 30 people holding hands emojis recommended in Emoji 12.1 are absent from this update.
